SVG works in widgets yes. I'm not sure how many use SVG, but as most regular web developers don't know much SVG, it will not be many. Widgets are ideal for SVG though as one doesn't have to care about IE support. There is at least a SVG clock widget written by Chaals, but clock examples are a bit like the Hello world of the widget landscape. Here is a list searching by SVG keyword - http://widgets.opera.com/search/?order=name&q=SVG . Nothing too exciting. >> Can they run on mobile? Yes SVG Widgets can run on mobile, but I doubt any of those there take mobile into account. We have a special widget mode for optimising for mobile - http://dev.opera.com/articles/view/widget-modes-docked-widget-and-more/ > Could you folks reach out to your dev community about this? We can try. Is there any plan of attack you'd suggest to get Widget developers (who are ideal devs to target SVG to, as mentioned above) to look into and start learning and using SVG? I'm still in the process of writing a SVG 101 article (that is taking longer than I hoped), so that can help in telling widget developers how to get started with SVG. > > -- > Robin Berjon - http://berjon.com/ > Feel like hiring me?
