Hi Matthias

No need to apologize. You are an important and much loved member of the
community.

First, let me say that this post here was nothing to do with you, it was in
response to today's meeting where there was feedback on the Solid WG
charter, see ( https://hackmd.io/GR3lSqD0RS6_r986wK9Hug )

Just trying to understand what issue you have.

You have a lot of support if you want to try and chair the group. If you
find you dont like it or it doesnt work out, you can always step back.
It's completely your choice.

It's a blessing for us that someone would volunteer their time and energy
to help the group. We should be thankful for that, not increase friction
with procedures, tasks, questionnaires, letters and other bureaucracy. I
understand that is hard and stressful. Especially in a 2nd language,
having lived in 3 european countries, I know how hard it can be, especially
with technical language.

You've always supported this community, and hopefully we can do the same.

Best
Melvin
