I wholeheartedly agree with you that we should be striving to include a diverse set of people, particularly making sure that those who belong to minority groups in our community feel represented.

I genuinely echo the sentiment on the importance of diversity and inclusion. Coming from an unconventional background and growing up in South America, and being multilingual myself - in fact, English is my 3rd language after my native Spanish and learning French as a small child, and I also speak Italian, Japanese, and a bit of Portuguese - I've experienced firsthand how diverse perspectives enhance group dynamics, which is a big motivation behind my work on Women of Solid and other diversity and inclusion initiatives in the Solid community and in the wider developer community. I'm grateful for the chance to contribute to these values within the Solid CG and the broader community.

The Code of Conduct Committee oversees the enforcement of the Code of Conduct. It is an independent entity within the Project, and new members are evaluated by the group. I strongly believe that no one in the CG should have full "control" over processes and Code of Conduct.
The CG charter with a chair election process ensures that the CG operates based on consent, as opposed to giving anyone "control". And, within W3C, work on the W3C Process and CoC is done in the open with no particular individual having oversight or restriction to participation.
