Yes, but note we have a dependency on HTML5, not HTML4. Whether or not
the microformats community cares about dereferencable URIs is to be
decided, I assume, by that community and it has no bearing on the
legal compatibility or stability of the microformats as a normative
reference.

It's a technical issue that is out of scope for this WG.
