Oh yes, indeed -- I'd love to meet elf, see Henry again, and ditto Amy! -- to name 3 who have been really active. Plus there are others who live in Europe. And maybe Europe is closer for some of the Asian participants. I apologize for not naming all of you; I was just thinking who in the group are AC reps from their companies, to the W3C, and therefore might be at the AC meeting. Dan Romascanu usually attends the AC; Claudio Venezia; Arnaud; Duk Ki Hong -- likely there are others. As for timing -- Monday and most of Tuesday (May 4 & 5) may make more sense, as it allows more time. The W3C has an "Intro to W3C" on Tuesday afternoon, but most of us have been around long enough to skip that. There are some other events starting at 17:00 that we need to attend. If we hold our WG meeting afterwards -- then that only allows Friday (May 8). I would be willing to work on Saturday, if the WG wants to do Friday & Saturday. But, generally, people aren't willing to do that. Or we just have a 1-day meeting. But that seems too bad, if we're making the effort. Gee, I sure hope I am approved to travel! -- Ann > -----Original Message----- > From: Harry Halpin [mailto:hhalpin@w3.org] > Sent: Monday, March 09, 2015 7:08 PM > To: Henry Story > Cc: public-socialweb@w3.org > Subject: Re: W3C TPAC 2015 - Will your group meet in Sapporo? > > > > On 03/10/2015 12:49 AM, Henry Story wrote: > > > >> On 10 Mar 2015, at 00:43, Harry Halpin <hhalpin@w3.org> wrote: > >> > >> > >> > >> On 03/10/2015 12:39 AM, Bassetti, Ann wrote: > >>> Adam Boyet and I, are trying hard to get approval to go to TPAC / Japan. > We will not know for some time on that. > >>> > >>> In the meantime, I was surprised that my boss submitted my request to > attend the AC meeting in Paris and recommended approval.
