FW: Block Diagram cross posted from Social Web Headlights Task Force - feedback

I'm forwarding Alberto's comments (below), which I think are very useful, to the "Headlights" list. Thanks, Alberto!

I'd also like to point out there is still confusion about the relationship between the "Social Business Community Group" and the "Social Networking Headlights Task Force" work. I, for one, encourage people in the Community Group to join the Task Force call next Monday, May 7th, 10am Eastern Daylight Time:

*         617.761.6200 x7621#

*         http://irc.w3.org/ ... enter the  #social channel

Wiki for Social Headlights:  http://www.w3.org/wiki/SocialWebHeadlightsTaskForce

Similarly, folks in Headlights group might want to attend the Community Group meeting tomorrow (May 1st, 12:00 noon Eastern time)

Subject: Block Diagram cross posted from Social Web Headlights Task Force - feedback

Hi everyone:

This is my feedback from the latest version of the document.

Messaging:

 * Mobile is a platform, not a messaging type. A person can send/receive messages using a desktop, laptop, table, mobile phone ...
 * Connected objects - mean internet of things related?
 * Forward / reply - this is an action (like delete) that we can do using e-mail. Or means a different thing?
Group Dynamics:

 * Create/Join/End - are actions a person can execute on a wiki a forum, alternatively I propose Community management
 * Membership/Group/Distribution - maybe too granular; can't we aggregate this into Community lists?
 *   Think is missing: Agenda
Collaboration / news feed: (These categories are Aggregators, a one way communication tool, thus putting collaboration maybe misleading)

Regarding technical foundations, Ontologies can play a critical role helping in very big companies finding the people with skills to help participating in a project or a particular activity, and also to clarify the meaning of concepts.

Cheers

Alberto
