Re: Minutes from Silver meeting of 7 May 2020

Jeanne and all,

I explored a series of Japanese Standard (JIS) to check if there is
any "functional
user needs" defined in JIS.

I found that JIS X 8341-6, which is "Guidelines for older persons and
persons with disabilities-Information and communications equipment,
software and services-Part 6: Guidance on software accessibility", has the
Annex D "Annex D (informative) Activity limitation issues". It looks very
close to "functional user needs". And JIS X 8341-6 is the identical to ISO
9241-171:2008 "Ergonomics of human-system interaction — Part 171: Guidance
on software accessibility".

So I copied and pasted some parts from the ISO 9241-171:2008 to hasten to
share what I found.
