Susie, one thing I said i'd mail about before this call was a basic demo of linking a standard patient record (CCD) into the VA VistA EHR using SPARQL endpoints. I put it here: http://www.caregraf.org/veganvet/demo Stuff is missing but should be there by week's end: biggest is queries that use concept subclass relationships (so the "linked score" will get better) but the basic idea should be clear - federating standard endpoints (SNOMED etc) with an EHR specific endpoint (example here VA VistA but it could as well be a Marshfield or Mayo or Beth Israel or ... EHR), is both the best way to import (and therefore export) patient records AND to judge where your concept mapping falls short. One thing I definitely want to do is get TMO into this and other demos. Conor p.s. the CCD is John Halamka's.
