Hi, Last week we posted a major update to the Chemical Taxonomies use case http://esw.w3.org/topic/HCLS/ChemicalTaxonomiesUseCase at the W3C HCLS Web site. This update covers about 2500 compounds that exist in PubChem. This work illustrates the use of RDF/Chemical taxonomies to communicate between the following three independently maintained databases 1 - NIH - PubChem http://pubchem.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/ 2 - NIST - HIVSDB http://xpdb.nist.gov/hiv2_d/advanced_query_files/slide0002.htm 3 NIAID /NIH - AIDS database http://chemdb2.niaid.nih.gov/struct_search/misc/url_search.asp?aids_no=000709 The stuff that follows the marker http://esw.w3.org/topic/HCLS/ChemicalTaxonomiesUseCase#head- 0419f47c67a590996830c652317660271a9b773c is newly added. Here we also explain how to use the work to initially query the NIST database using the chemical taxonomy and then to link up to the other databases. For details see - http://esw.w3.org/topic/HCLS/ChemicalTaxonomiesUseCase#head- d958fe9693ce909e65e6893b7b9366d4821930dd Please let us know if you have any questions or comments. Thanks TN & John
