Greetings from Edinburgh! WWW2006 was very exciting this year, especially in the area of the Semantic Web. Here is a link to slide presentations from the SW panel Eric Miller chaired: http://www.w3.org/2006/05/w3c-track (I've put a link to them on the main page as well). The room where the panel was packed, and people are starting to take notice of what is going on in the life sciences area! There were some cool live SW demonstrations as well by Lee Feigenbaum, Ben Adidas, and Amit Sheth. Definitely worth finding out more on RDFa and Microformats if you haven't heard of them already!
