Re: Request for slot on Leuven meeting agenda to discuss/explore Augmented Reality

Linda,

I’m interested in this, and in progressing the Lyon discussion. WebVMT has a number of current features [1] which are applicable to AR to sync video with geolocation, including moving objects, map annotation and presentation, and future roadmap items like camera direction and data sync [2].

Christine, please let me know if you’d like to discuss AR use cases before your June hackathon. This may provide a focus to identify and refine geospatial-video use cases (e.g. Proxy Explorer [3]) before the OGC TC meeting, which could usefully feed into the discussion in Leuven.

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Rob Smith

It might be worthwhile to put this item on the agenda as it might help us figure out if/how SDWIG can help coordinate OGC engagement with Immersive Web (WebXR Device API) folks.
