1. Progress Made 1.i. Added a new use case to the Editor's Draft for dashcams: Police Evidence (http://w3c.github.io/sdw/proposals/geotagging/webvmt/#policeevidence) 1.ii. Updated Editor's Draft (http://w3c.github.io/sdw/proposals/geotagging/webvmt) to include the TIMELINE block which links the VMT file to a media file: w3c/sdw: Issue #1035 (https://github.com/w3c/sdw/issues/1035) 1.iii. Community outreach to the Defence & Intelligence Domain Working Group (http://www.opengeospatial.org/projects/groups/dandidwg) has produced an invitation to present at the OGC TC (http://www.ogcmeet.org) in Stuttgart, 10-14 September 2018. Thanks to Linda for her help. 1.iv. Successfully recruited the first early adopter of WebVMT. 1.v. Added MapBox GL API (https://www.mapbox.com/mapbox-gl-js/api/) support to the Javascript playback engine. 2. Next Steps 2.i. Add data model and file format sections to the Editor's Draft (http://w3c.github.io/sdw/proposals/geotagging/webvmt). 2.ii. Propose a suitable topic for a WebVMT breakout session (https://www.w3.org/2018/10/TPAC/#breakouts) at TPAC in Lyons in October. w3c/sdw: Issue #1064 (https://github.com/w3c/sdw/issues/1064). 2.iii. Update the Javascript playback engine to the latest Editor's Draft (http://w3c.github.io/sdw/proposals/geotagging/webvmt). 2.iv. Continue community outreach and identify more activities to help progress towards the standardisation track.
