RE: Readying the draft for publication (Re: Call for consensus: OWL Time )

Thanks Bert -

I'm looking at the broken links

- I find no problem with http://nvlpubs.nist.gov/nistpubs/jres/109/2/j92cur.pdf - does the W3C checker not like PDF or http? - I've reinstated the reference

- indeed, the reference.data.gov.uk service appears to be no more. So much for linked data.

** Linda, Jeremy - are you aware of anything similar to http://reference.data.gov.uk/id/quarter/2006-Q1available, else the whole example may have to be scrapped. **

On security and privacy - I've added a two-sentence section which hand-balls the problem to the application developer.

Subject: Readying the draft for publication (Re: Call for consensus: OWL Time )

Hello Simon and Chris,

I'm preparing the owl-time draft for publication as a Candidate Recommendation Draft, but there are a few broken links and a warning from the checker.

The broken links must be fixed before publication. Best would be if you can find replacement URLs. Otherwise I will just remove the URLs.

The warnings can be fixed now or for the next publication.

The broken links are:

  - Broken link in the bibliography to
    http://nvlpubs.nist.gov/nistpubs/jres/109/2/j92cur.pdf

  - Broken link in section 5.8 ‘Legal interval’ to
    http://reference.data.gov.uk/id/quarter/2006-Q1

  - Broken link in section 5.8 ‘Legal interval’ to
    http://reference.data.gov.uk/def/intervals

And the warning is that no security and privacy considerations section was found. There is a list of questions that may help in writing such a section at https://www.w3.org/TR/security-privacy-questionnaire/ That list is long, but the resulting section will probably be very short.
