+1 from me. But then we should make it clear that *real*-world things
do include fictional ones. Or we can opt for something else, e.g., the
already mentioned *spatial* thing / object.

BTW, maybe I missed it, but have we taken into account the definition
of geo:SpatialThing? (quoting:)

"Anything with spatial extent, i.e. size, shape, or position. e.g.
people, places, bowling balls, as well as abstract areas like cubes."
