RE: Frozen copy?

Absolutely. This is First ... Working Draft! There is no problem with having open issues.

Hello Peter,

I have added "the OGC coverage model" as an example to 5.23 (Model reuse), but both 5.23 and 5.26 are marked as having open issues, I think that means we have to work towards improved definitions in the e-mail threads associated with those issues and then propose a new version of the requirement and vote on that in the meeting. Or at least get to the point that everyone can live with and understands the new version.

At this stage in editing (working towards a FPWD) we (the UCR editors) were temporarily more concerned with having a complete overview of remaining issues rather than resolving remaining issues.

As for 2.5 (which actually is a copy the description of the deliverable in the charter), I have created a new issue in the tracker for that, as a reminder to the group that something needs to happen: ISSUE-27<https://www.w3.org/2015/spatial/track/issues/27>.

Regards,
Frans

Hi Frans, did you have any chance to look at this?

Hi Frans,

coming back to my earlier comment (see below), can we please add in 5.23 "the OGC coverage model". Also 5.26 should mention the OGC coverage model, as well as 2.5 - following discussion over the last week which I believe has shown that in OGC many answers are available for inspection and possible reuse.

thanks,
Peter

PS: yesterday, ISO TC211 WG6 moved that the OGC coverage model will be considered for becoming ISO 19123-2, based on the OGC standard, as a New Work Item Proposal. ISO agrees that it will be brought in at the DIS level as it is considered "substantive".
An INSPIRE meeting on WCS will take place coming week.

Frans, Alejandro-

actually, the OGC coverage model has been discussed from various aspects in the past few weeks; do you think we can we consolidate this discussion and add OGC coverages to the document? Ready to support at any time.

cheers,
Peter

Hello,

I think all requirements that are not ready yet have been marked as having related issues in the issue tracker. So I have had ReSpec made a snapshot, which I have attached to this message. The snapshot is in the GitHub repository too<https://github.com/w3c/sdw/blob/gh-pages/UseCases/snapshots/Spatial%20Data%20on%20the%20Web%20Use%20Cases%20%26%20Requirements%20%28First%20Public%20Working%20Draft%29.html>. I hope this snapshot makes a good frozen copy.

Frans

'Frozen' means that this is the version that is the final version that gets published as the FPWD (and hopefully as an OGC discussion paper). So, it is a snapshot, but a special one.
