I'm getting annoyed that every time I Google* for WebIDL I end up at the grossly outdated version and have to click and wait for the dev version to come up. Is there any reason to sit around for another few weeks outside the LC phase, or am I missing something?

I prefer the additional review period (shorter than YA LC review)
especially since, as you noted, the changes since the last publication
are substantive.
