Colleagues: This is a Call for Consensus (CfC) to the Accessible Platform Architectures (APA) Working Group proposing returning our existing Working Group Note, "Inaccessibility of CAPTCHA" to a First Public Working Draft (FPWD) publication for further development and eventual elevation to W3C Statement status as provided for by the W3C Process 2021: Section 6.4.3 Elevating Group Notes to W3C Statement status https://www.w3.org/2021/Process-20211102/#memo The current Note is published here: http://www.w3.org/TR/turingtest ***Proposed Process*** Approval of this CfC will: 1.) Publish the current Note as a new FPWD, requesting wide review; 2.) Assign further development of this Note to our Research Questions Task Force (RQTF), with our explicit authorization to publish updated Working Drafts of this note as RQTF may see fit until; 3.) RQTF returns a completed Note Draft to APA for CfC approval to publish an updated APA Working Group Note and; 4.)
