Suggestion to host RIF F2F13, April 15-17 in Madrid, Spain: I have talked with my former colleagues at Univ. Rey Juan Carlos in Mostoles, Madrid about the possiblity to host the next f2f meeting in Madrid short before WWW2009, i.e. April 15-17. (weekend is difficult/hardly possible there) Location: http://www.urjc.es/ Campus Mostoles: http://local.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&q=Universidad+Rey+Juan+Carlos,+28933+Mostoles,+Spain&ie=UTF8&om=1&z=18&ll=40.335827,-3.878238&spn=0.001807,0.005322&t=h&iwloc=addr reachable from Madrid, station "principe pio" in approximately 30min by bus or metro. Here is what I found out. Unless we find an additional sponsor, the following infrastructure could be provided: - meeting room (with tables U-shape) for 20 persons - optional second meeting room for break-out sessions - wireless internet - projector As for lunches and coffee breaks, we could, at moderate prices go to the university restaurant and/or cafeteria. We are still trying to find out about the possiblity to have a speaker phone in the meeting room which at the moment I cannot guarantee, so we'd maybe need to resort to e.g. skype if someone needs to dial in. THere is a dedicated Video conference room, which has all the infrastructure, but it's likely not gonna be free all the time: http://chaplin.urjc.es/z_files/aj_comu/aj04/Sala1/Sala1.html here an approximate plan of bokings for that room... https://chaplin.urjc.es/reserva/Reservas.php#3 I thank Prof. Ossowski from URJC for his efforts and the kind offer and help in finding out the details.
