From: https://www.w3.org/2002/09/wbs/33280/EthicalWebPrinciples/results We object to Section 2.6 due to its vague restrictions, such as ‘contravening other human rights’ and undefined ‘hate speech,’ which could undermine freedom of expression. To safeguard free speech, limitations should only apply to content inciting violence or clearly causing unlawful harm. This is necessary to prevent arbitrary censorship and protect healthy discourse. We support [Member A]’s recommendation to change the first sentence of this section to “We will create web technologies and platforms that encourage free expression.“, and we’d also like to see the example in the parentheses removed.
