Interest on WMDE's side in reconciliation support for Wikibase

Hello all,

I just wanted to share some exciting news with the group: Wikimedia 
Deutschland is planning to give some attention to the reconciliation API 
in the coming months. I am quoting their reply to an open letter from 
the Wikibase Stakeholder Group, where members have expressed their 
interest in a more natively supported reconciliation service in Wikibase:

        It is great to see the recent development work by OpenRefine
        that allows users to import data into an arbitrary Wikibase
        instance that is not Wikidata.

        The issue of reconciliation is certainly one we are interested
        in solving sustainably. Our plans in this area should become
        clearer in the summer of 2022.
