Perhaps I could have been more clear. I am only proposing using these
abbreviations within the mailing list itself, for the purpose of asking
questions. For the final documentation that I write, Manu has given me free
reign, "...as if I were writing a separate book." Though, I will certainly
appreciate any tips as to commonly used stylistic guidelines. To repeat, my
documentation does not need to meet W3C guidelines because it will never
appear in any W3C official documentation.

In a way, my end goal is not to document the spec. It is to sell the spec
to web authors by making it understandable.
