Toby, the RDFa WG discussed the issue recorded at[1] and discussed in [2]. The question was whether the default profile of RDFa 1.1 core should include prefixes for "xml" and "xmlns". As recorded in [3], the group decided to indeed add these two prefixes to the list of default prefixes. For the records, the following mappings will be defined: xml -> http://www.w3.org/XML/1998/namespace xmlns -> http://www.w3.org/2000/xmlns/ as defined by the XML documents. I hope this answers your Last Call comments and you are satisfied with the answer. For our records, we would appreciate if you could answer to this mail, so that we could close the issue. Sincerely In the name of the RDFa Working Group Ivan Herman [1] http://www.w3.org/2010/02/rdfa/track/issues/69 [2] http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-rdfa-wg/2010Dec/0076.html [3] http://www.w3.org/2010/02/rdfa/meetings/2011-02-03#resolution_1 ---- Ivan Herman, W3C Semantic Web Activity Lead Home: http://www.w3.org/People/Ivan/ mobile: +31-641044153 PGP Key: http://www.ivan-herman.net/pgpkey.html FOAF: http://www.ivan-herman.net/foaf.rdf
