Ii think this is a reasonable clarification, but we also need to consider if the JSON-LD is extracted, is it processed in any way? Is the result multiple documents? Or, some kind of merger of the documents? My concern was specifically for extracting RDF, so that JSON-LD is in harmony with Turtle in HTML and a possibly forthcoming Note on the subject. Perhaps it's best to not say anything about what processors should do for anything other than RDF extraction.
