Hi: The W3C RDF-star Working Group, as part of its efforts in updating the RDF and SPARQL documents, is addressing the problems with SPARQL EXISTS. The working group is currently likely to pick one of the two proposals in https://w3c.github.io/sparql-exists/docs/sparql-exists.html As someone who has published in this area, do you have any advice for the working group? If you want to more influence on the changes to SPARQL you might also join the working group. Peter Patel-Schneider for the W3C RDF-star Working Group
