Re: Event Updated: RDF-star WG

Regrets for this meeting, and the one next week. I’ll be traveling, but generally available by email or GitHub.

A number of the RDF specs have open issues and pull requests that are awaiting resolution of our operating procedures and work on normative changes from Errata:

RDF Concepts: 

* https://github.com/w3c/rdf-concepts/issues/9 – Text direction, requiring discussion elsewhere. Will have implications for N-Quads canonicalization, among others
* https://github.com/w3c/rdf-concepts/issues/15 – Aligns IRI terminology, non-normative.
* https://github.com/w3c/rdf-concepts/pull/16 – change in normative language on security considerations, but not substantial IMO. May require addressing cost of L2V of defined datatypes
* https://github.com/w3c/rdf-concepts/pull/17 – Fixes a note on an issue marker, should really get merged soon.
* https://github.com/w3c/rdf-concepts/pull/18 – Not urgent, awaiting decision on including a definition for rdf:JSON originally defined in JSON-LD
* https://github.com/w3c/rdf-concepts/pull/21 – Non-normative appendix for a complete RFC 3987 grammar in ABNF.

N-Triples:

* https://github.com/w3c/rdf-n-triples/issues/2 – Errata open on Canonicalization and IRI terminology.
* https://github.com/w3c/rdf-n-triples/issues/9 – Non-normative termial production alignment. Deferred until grammars are updated.

N-Quads:

* https://github.com/w3c/rdf-n-quads/issues/2 – Open errata on Canonicalization Impacts rdf-canon spec.
* https://github.com/w3c/rdf-n-quads/issues/14 – Non-normative terminal production alignment. Deferred until grammars are updated.
* https://github.com/w3c/rdf-n-quads/issues/16 – Unaddressed issues with canonicalization. Impacts rdf-canon spec.
* https://github.com/w3c/rdf-n-quads/pull/17 – Part of update on Canonicalization.  Impacts rdf-canon spec.
* https://github.com/w3c/rdf-n-quads/pull/19 – change in normative language on security considerations, but not substantial IMO.

Turtle:

* https://github.com/w3c/rdf-turtle/issues/2  – Align IRI terminology, non-normative.
* https://github.com/w3c/rdf-turtle/issues/5 – Escape character text, normative clarification
* https://github.com/w3c/rdf-turtle/issues/7 – Non-normative terminal production alignment. Deferred until grammars are updated.

TriG:

* https://github.com/w3c/rdf-trig/issues/4 – Non-normative terminal production alignment. Deferred until grammars are updated.

RDF/XML:

* https://github.com/w3c/rdf-xml/issues/2 – Align IRI terminology, non-normative.

Potential changes for literal text direction will impact most everything.
