I have just joined the working group as an invited expert. I have been involved in a number of W3C recommendations, including RDF, OWL, and SPARQL. I am most interested in ensuring that RDF-star and SPARQL-star are conservative extensions to RDF and SPARQL, making the minimum additions required to support the use cases developed and selected by the working group. I also want the relationship between RDF-star and SPARQL-star to be same as the relationship between RDF and SPARQ. I am also interested in getting as many of the errors in SPARQL fixed as possible.
