Implementation Report update
Michael: The main sorry is that the implementation report depends on
the test cases.
... we shouldn't extend the test cases.
... so if we're going to do it, we should do it very quickly.
Manu: That could throw a wrench in the works.
Michael: Yes, it could.
... I'm not against new test cases, but we might have to wait for a
test case to be reviewed.
ShaneM: It would also require everybody to to rerun their
implementations.
Ralph: We should work out a mechanism to say what is for this
version of RDFa.
Michael: Which set of test cases should I use?
PROPOSE: Freeze the test cases as of today for the implementation
report.
<Ralph> +1
<msporny> +1
<mhausenblas> +1
RESOLUTION: Freeze the test cases as of today for the implementation
report.
Michael: That's everything I need for the implementation report,
should have it done by tomorrow.
Manu: Anything else you need?
Michael: Just editorial changes.
Manu: Javascript implementations as well?
Michael: Yes.
... There's other stuff like Shark and Top Quadrant, but they're not
at the core of what we need to prove for PR.
... We already have all the info we need in the Implementation
Report.
ACTION: Michael to complete implementation report and send out
notification to all working groups. [recorded in
[34]http://www.w3.org/2008/07/31-rdfa-minutes.html#action20]
RDFa parsers and absolute URIs
-> "[35]RDFa test suite addition" [28]
[35] http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-rdf-in-xhtml-tf/2008Jul/0096.html
[28] http://rdfa.info/wiki/Tutorials
Manu: As Mark pointed out, pretty clear
Mark: When everybody is happy, wording is fine ...
Manu: After RDFa IR is done the according TC will be added
-> "[36]Re: RDFa test suite addition" [31]
[36] http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-rdf-in-xhtml-tf/2008Jul/0117.html
[31] http://www.w3.org/2008/06/26-rdfa-minutes.html#action11
<msporny> PROPOSE: Add text to RDFa Syntax document, section 5.4.2,
making it clear that CURIE and URI relative URI resolution use the
same method.
<msporny> > > Section 5.4.2, "Converting a CURIE to a URI" describes
the following algorithm:
<msporny> We will probably want to clarify this section with
something to this effect:
<msporny> "... relative URIs will need to be resolved relative to
the base URI,
<msporny> using the algorithm defined in section 5 of RFC 3986
[URI], Reference
<msporny> Resolution."
ACTION: Mark to update RDFa Syntax document, section 5.4.2 to be
explicit about which algorithm is used to resolve relative URIs.
[recorded in
[37]http://www.w3.org/2008/07/31-rdfa-minutes.html#action21]
ACTION: Manu to create test cases for testing relative URI
resolution (href/CURIEs/etc). [recorded in
[38]http://www.w3.org/2008/07/31-rdfa-minutes.html#action22]

[31] http://www.w3.org/2008/06/26-rdfa-minutes.html#action11
Shane: How will we deal with the editorial changes?
Manu: Need to ensure to respond to Alans points
Shane: Mark, Ralph, have you read the comments?
ACTION: Ralph to work with Ben on proposing specific editorial
changes to RDFa Syntax document based on ISSUE-122. [recorded in
[41]http://www.w3.org/2008/07/31-rdfa-minutes.html#action23]
Manu: Overview on editorial changes?
Shane: There are two: ISSUE-121 and relative URIs
... that's all since CR
Manu: May need to check if there are others during the last calls
... Wrap-up ... Michael to complete RDFa IR, all to check Syntax
Document
