Without addressing any of your issues, per se, the current Editor's 
Draft of the RDFa Syntax document (and the xhtml-rdfa module) is always 
available via the XHTML Working Group drafts page at 
http://www.w3.org/MarkUp/Drafts - that page is updated as new drafts are 
developed.
