Hi, I've written an extension for MediaWiki called EmbeddedSemantics(ESem), which makes it possible to annotate parts of the wikitext to get a semantic representation using RDFa within the XHTML output. ESem allows you to make any kind of Subject-Predicate-Object-statments using URIs and plain or typed Literals, covering most of the RDFa possibilities. The annoations within the wikitext are enabled by an extended wiki-syntax. A fully working test installation providing further informations about ESem can be found at [1]. There are also about 5500 testpages with geographical data. The ESem extension can be downloaded at [2]. The test pages exist as MediaWiki export files at [3]. The work was part of my Bachelor thesis which is much more detailed as the informations provided at the mentioned pages. The thesis will be available within the next few weeks (but only in German).
