I'm afraid I have to give apologies for this week. I may be able to join some of it by phone, but not on IRC. For the record, I have no strong feelings on either the proposal, or issue 15. If there's any information I can provide about my bit of the query document, give me a shout today and I'll send any current thoughts I have. - Steve On 12 Dec 2009, at 04:06, Lee Feigenbaum wrote: > Hi everyone, > > The WG meeting on Tuesday will focus on getting the documents ready > to be reviewed so that they can be published. > > We'll also try to conclude the alias variable scope discussion from > last week and see if there's consensus on whether or not custom > aggregate functions should be set off by explicit syntax. > > See http://www.w3.org/2009/sparql/wiki/Agenda-2009-12-15 . > > Call in details > > > When joining please don't identify yourself verbally; instead, > identify yourself to Zakim on IRC > > * Date of Call: Tuesday December 15, 2009 > * Time of Call: 15:00 UK, 10:00 (East US) > * Dial-In #: +1.617.761.6200 (Cambridge, MA) > * Dial-In #: +33.4.89.06.34.99 (Nice, France) > * Dial-In #: +44.117.370.6152 (Bristol, UK) > * Participant Access Code: 77277# (SPARQ) > * IRC Channel: irc.w3.org port 6665 channel #sparql ([irc:irc.w3.org:6665/sparql > ]) > * Web-based IRC (member-only): http://www.w3.org/2001/01/cgi-irc > (Firefox IRC addon: chatzilla) > * Duration: 60 minutes > * Chair: Lee Feigenbaum > * Scribe: LukeWM (Scribe List) > * Link to Agenda: http://www.w3.org/2009/sparql/wiki/Agenda-2009-12-15 > > [edit] Agenda > > * Admin > o PROPOSED: Approve minutes at http://www.w3.org/2009/sparql/meeting/2009-12-08 > o Next meeting: 2009-12-22 @ 15:00 UK / 10:00 EST > * Comment handling - see http://www.w3.org/2009/sparql/wiki/ > Comments > * Liaisons - Anything to report? > o RIF WG (Axel) > o RDB2RDF WG (Orri) > o eGov (SteveH) > * Review Document Change Logs and Review Readiness > o http://www.w3.org/2009/sparql/docs/query-1.1/ > o http://www.w3.org/2009/sparql/docs/update-1.1/ > o http://www.w3.org/2009/sparql/docs/protocol-1.1/ > o http://www.w3.org/2009/sparql/docs/service-description-1.1/ > o http://www.w3.org/2009/sparql/docs/http-rdf-update/ > o http://www.w3.org/2009/sparql/docs/property-paths/Overview.xml > o http://www.w3.org/2009/sparql/docs/entailment/xmlspec.xml > * Resolve scope of alias variables > o Current proposal is AndyS's: > + PROPOSED: Aliased variables can be used in > expressions further to the right in the SELECT clause and in the > HAVING clause; query strings that have an aliased variable elsewhere > (e.g. in the query pattern) are malformed queries. > * Custom syntax for aggregates? > o See http://www.w3.org/2009/sparql/track/issues/15 and > discussion from there > * Review open actions - http://www.w3.org/2009/sparql/track/actions/open > > [edit] Regrets > > * AxelP > > Lee > -- Steve Harris, CTO, Garlik Limited 2 Sheen Road, Richmond, TW9 1AE, UK +44(0)20 8973 2465 http://www.garlik.com/ Registered in England and Wales 535 7233 VAT # 849 0517 11 Registered office: Thames House, Portsmouth Road, Esher, Surrey, KT10 9AD
