Agenda for tomorrow, see: http://www.w3.org/2009/sparql/wiki/Agenda-2009-08-25 Approximately one more month only [1] until our projected FPWD of SPARQL/Query, SPARQL/Update, SPARQL/Protocol. For that reason, I want to put aside the Service Description discussion for this telecon to assess where we are in terms of getting these drafts out. For each required feature, we want to collect * status report ? (what do the editors need to get to a first draft?) * issues? (which issues will remain open, but should be listed) I put service discovery in the end of the Telecon, in case we have time left, to see whether we can get to consensus. For all of the features, If put some name(s) in parentheses, these are the names of the editors and/or people who agreed to provide design drafts earlier. Ideally, if these are present, they should be able to summarize the issues and schedule, where not, I will try to give a summary. Note: We will NOT spend telecon time to do this exercise for the time-allowed features, but encourage the task forces to also keep the end-of-September deadline in mind! Axel 1. http://www.w3.org/2009/05/sparql-phase-II-charter.html P.S.: I didn't manage to collect the issues per feature/document in the agenda (where known), so in case you have them, feel free to add them in the resp. subitem. I might try to update this later on. ================================================================== Call in details When joining please don't identify yourself verbally; instead, identify yourself to Zakim on IRC * Date of Call: Tuesday August 25, 2009 * Time of Call: 15:00 UK, 10:00 (East US) * Dial-In #: +1.617.761.6200 (Cambridge, MA) * Dial-In #: +33.4.89.06.34.99 (Nice, France) * Dial-In #: +44.117.370.6152 (Bristol, UK) * Participant Access Code: 77277# (SPARQ) * IRC Channel: irc.w3.org port 6665 channel #sparql ([irc:irc.w3.org:6665/sparql]) * Web-based IRC (member-only): http://www.w3.org/2001/01/cgi-irc (Firefox IRC addon: chatzilla) * Duration: 60 minutes * Chair: Axel Polleres * Scribe: SimonKJ (Scribe List) * Link to Agenda: http://www.w3.org/2009/sparql/wiki/Agenda-2009-08-25 [edit] Agenda * Admin (5min) o PROPOSED: Approve minutes at http://www.w3.org/2009/sparql/meeting/2009-08-18 o Next meeting: 2009-08-25 @ 15:00 BST / 10:00 EDT, Alex Passant to scribe (Scribe List) o Liaisons - Anything to report? + OWL WG (Bijan) + HCLS (Eric) + XQuery (Eric) + RIF WG (Axel) + RDB2RDF WG (Orri) o Action/issue status - via tracker: http://www.w3.org/2009/sparql/track/ * Status report FWPDs end-of-September o SPARQL/Query (AndyS, SteveH) 35min + Subselect (SteveH) - http://www.w3.org/2009/sparql/wiki/Design:SubSelect 10min # status report: schedule? what do the editors need to get to a first draft? # issues?
