Andy & Eric, I think that rq23 should at least refer to the ability to specify an RDF dataset in the SPARQL protocol (and, further, to at least point to the section in SPROT about resolving ambiguous datasets). I think that would make the protocol doc a normative reference. The coupling between these two should be very loose, but I think it's too lose currently. At the very minimum it should say something like "See [SPROT] for more information about RDF datasets" *somewhere* in the query language spec. If it already says this, please forgive me, and a pointer to where would be nice. I couldn't find anything. Cheers, Kendall Clark
