Thanks for your comments on the working group's use case document.

I assume from the comments in your message, that you are talking about  
performing an aggregate function on the results of a query? This  
feature is implemented in several current RDF query languages, see for

This is an ongoing discussion, one that I personally expect to be dealt  
with by the group in due course. It's certainly an area that I see as  
being important, and one that I feel is better handled at the store  
level than the application level.

details on the group's current thinking, a link will be posted to  
public-rdf-dawg when they become available.
