In advance for the call, and referring to item #2 below, here are some links and facts for the CR transition. The executive summary is that a "transition call" must be organized, and the request for that transition call requires some additional administration on our part. Per process, ie: http://www.w3.org/2005/10/Process-20051014/tr#cfi and http://www.w3.org/2005/10/Process-20051014/tr#transition-reqs the group has to provide a bunch of information in writing. The second link gives you a detailed list. I think the most important points are: - a documentation of the changes on the document since Last Call (should not be very complicated) - "Show evidence of wide review" and "Formally address all issues" essentially means that we have to document all comments and the responses thereof, hopefully getting a reply from the commenters accepting the WG's response. Once these information are gathered, a formal request for a transition has to be sent. More information is at: http://bit.ly/uv2HuA (Beware! There seems to be a bug in the XSLT script for this page, and it hangs on Firefox 8 running on Mac OS Snow Leopard:-). You have to choose the candidate rec entry on pull down list. The rest of the steps, ie, the publications, are not significantly different than what was done before; see http://bit.ly/vgTV9k for those. I also digged out an example mail for a transition request, just to give a pattern: http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Member/chairs/2011JulSep/0039.html I hope this helps!
