Re: New Year check-in

I am actually not sure in what format the DI implementations will appear in the RCH CR results. Obviously, a DI implementation will not run the official RCH WG test suite, which is the one behind to official CR process. So we would probably have a separate part of the report which refers to various real-life applications using RDFC.

But I have a slight worry. It may be a disservice for us if the only applications that would appear on our report were DI implementations. We had this challenge early on: our goal is to provide an algorithm to the LD community out there in general, and not only for the VC/DI community (while acknowledging the huge push and input that community did have in developing RDFC!). My worry is that the general LD community will say "ah, this is a tool developed for VC-s, it is not for us".

Bottom line: if the only source of implementation/usage reports is from the DI community, it may be wiser not to do it at all imho.
