Bug ID: 28897
Summary: [xp 3.1] Reference to try/catch in XPath spec
Product: XPath / XQuery / XSLT
Version: Candidate Recommendation
Hardware: PC
OS: All
Status: NEW
Severity: minor
Priority: P2
Component: XPath 3.1
Assignee: jonathan.robie@gmail.com
Reporter: mike@saxonica.com
QA Contact: public-qt-comments@w3.org
In section 2.3 para 5, definition of "error value", the sentence
XQuery 3.1 provides standard error handling via Section 3.16 Try/Catch
Expressions XQ31 .
is inappropriate for the XPath specification.
(It could perhaps be generalized as a remark about XPath host languages in
general).
