Probably means you bought a Dodge Maxi-Van, Bob. As far as I can remember, which isn't very far, all factory-finished (Southern Cross) boats had four (4)ports on each side of the house. Most owner-completion boats (Gillmer 31's) had four ports, but could have had more if the initial buyer bought a so-called Level One stage boat, eg, blank hull and deck molding, lead keel, etc. So, technically, you probably did not buy a Southern Cross. As I never tire of saying, not that it makes a lot of differece any more, as some of the owner completion boats were finished off every bit as well (on in a few cases, better than) as the boats completed at the shop. All factory finished boats had bronze number plates...to my knowledge, no Gilmer 31's had them. Factory boats had SC31 in the hull ID #, Gillmers had G31. Good luck.
