           Summary: [FT] Silence on xml:lang
           Product: XPath / XQuery / XSLT
           Version: Working drafts
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Windows XP
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Full Text
        AssignedTo: jim.melton@acm.org
        ReportedBy: holstege@mathling.com
         QAContact: public-qt-comments@w3.org

What obligations, if any, does the tokenizer have with respect to xml:lang?
What should happen if a stemmed query in language X is applied to documents
with xml:lang Y (X != Y)?

Propose: Implementation-defined.
