http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=3410 Summary: Editorial: Refrences to XDT namespace still remaining Product: XPath / XQuery / XSLT Version: Candidate Recommendation Platform: Other OS/Version: Linux Status: NEW Keywords: editorial Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: XQuery AssignedTo: chamberl@almaden.ibm.com ReportedBy: frans.englich@telia.com QAContact: public-qt-comments@w3.org References to the XDT namespace(http://www.w3.org/2005/xpath-datatypes) still remains: * In 4.15 Function Declaration, at the end of the bullet point list listing reserved namespaces * The description for error code XQST0045 It might be that this is not a mistake, that the XDT namespace in fact still is reserved(although it would surprise me). However, in that case the changelog is misleading and contradictory to practice, since it reads: "J.1 10 May 2006 Deleted all references to the namespace http://www.w3.org/2005/xpath-datatypes, formerly known by the prefix xdt: [...]" This was encountered in bug report: http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=3349 Frans
