Its purpose is to teach users how to use Regex's with collations and warn them of possible difficulties and gotchas. I agree that such information may be useful to users of XQuery but I'm not sure we need to do anything about this. So, my first reaction is -- do nothing. The Unicode Consortium has published this useful document and that's great! Thank you! If that's not acceptable, then I would suggest we add a Usage Note to the F&O that says "BTW, there are special considerations in using Regex's with collations. Please take a look at UTS18 if you are planning to do that." Ashok Malhotra (personal response)
