http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=1321 Summary: Value of Variables and Parameters (temporary trees from atoms) Product: XPath / XQuery / XSLT Version: Last Call drafts Platform: PC OS/Version: Windows XP Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: XSLT 2.0 AssignedTo: mike@saxonica.com ReportedBy: dholmes@tibco.com QAContact: public-qt-comments@w3.org Section 9.3, Value of Variables and Parameters, contains the following snippet. "a new document (referred to as a temporary tree) is constructed with a document node having as its children the sequence of nodes that results from evaluating the sequence constructor" What happens when the sequence constructor creates atomic values? I can't find a prescription in the specification for how atoms become incorporated with the document node. Thank You, David Holmes
