SECTION 2.5: The Stylesheet Evaluation Context

The choice to name the parts of stylesheet evaluation context as
"variables" potentially can lead to a wrong interpretation due to its
use elsewhere and in XPath. A better choice would be "component" as it
is in XPath 2.0.
