For some reason Outlook removes the leading "F&O:" from the subject field when we use it to Reply to messages (I tested this). Maybe it does it since it does this for "FW:" and "RE:" so you don't get messages with "RE: RE: RE:" at the beginning of the subject field. Andrew: Maybe it would be better if you put the document reference in square brackets e.g "[F&O]" in your subject fields to avoid this problem. /paulc Paul Cotton, Microsoft Canada 17 Eleanor Drive, Nepean, Ontario K2E 6A3 Tel: (613) 225-5445 Fax: (425) 936-7329 mailto:pcotton@microsoft.com > -----Original Message----- > From: public-qt-comments-request@w3.org [mailto:public-qt-comments- > request@w3.org] On Behalf Of Ashok Malhotra > Sent: May 9, 2003 12:10 PM > To: Svgdeveloper@aol.com; public-qt-comments@w3.org > Subject: RE: Threading of responses to comments > > > Andrew: > I did not change the header, if that's what you meant. > > All the best, Ashok > > > -----Original Message----- > > From: Svgdeveloper@aol.com [mailto:Svgdeveloper@aol.com] > > Sent: Friday, May 09, 2003 8:36 AM > > To: public-qt-comments@w3.org > > Cc: Ashok Malhotra > > > > Ashok, > > > > It's great to have prompt responses to comments but I notice that you > > remove > > the document name (F&O in these cases) before responding.
