Thanks for the great suggestion, Wendy. I agree that we need more conversations in which to discuss what the industry feels our priorities should be for the next several years. And it makes sense to me to create an opportunity at TPAC to energize that conversation. I propose that we use a large part of tomorrow's SC meeting to plan such an event. I concur with others who have said that the name "workshop" will connote a type of event that will be difficult to include in this year's TPAC plans. So, three outcomes of the discussion tomorrow that I'd like to see are: 1. Outline of the goals of the "session" 2. Working title for the session (*) 3. Who's the organizing {lead, committee} The TPAC Events Team will also want to know our request for room capacity and duration. We might find it easiest to extend one of the slots requested for the EPUB WG by an hour or two but also distinguish this session from the WG agenda. -Ralph [*] Perhaps something along the lines of "Whiteboarding Web Digital Publishing futures" On 2022-05-25 10:31 AM, Reid, Wendy wrote: > Hi all, > > I hope everyone is having a wonderful week and enjoying the spring weather! > > Since we didn’t have an SC meeting this month, and won’t until June now > due to holidays, I wanted to suggest something here in the hopes we can > mull over it before the June meeting and come to some consensus. > > TPAC is approaching, and the EPUB WG is progressing towards REC more or > less on schedule.
