FYI, in my quest for a replacement for Doodle. Best George From: Cally Support <support@cally.com> Sent: Friday, August 26, 2022 3:33 AM To: George Kerscher <kerscher@montana.com> Subject: Re: Accessibility by blind screen reader users Paul replied Aug 26, 11:33 Dear George, Thank you so much for your message and you feedback. We appreciate that a lot. I totally agree that the world needs a fully accessible calendar tool for scheduling appointments. I can imagine it can be frustrating if a website is not working the way it should be. And that's why I don't like to say that we don't have the resources the make it fully accessible. We are with the 5 of us and that's already not enough to do the rest of the basics. If we see the possibility to adjust our website somewhere soon, I'll definitely let you know. Sorry to disappoint you! Have a nice day anyway! Kind regards, Paul support@cally.com George Kerscher sent a message Aug 12, 22:46 Hello, I am blind and use a screen reader. Doodle was accessible, but they changed their interface and it no longer works for persons with disabilities. There is a huge opportunity to gain market share. I received a Cally request and filled it out successfuly. I was a little confused on the time, if it had been adjusted for my time zone (mountain) or if it was in the zone set by the person setting up the pole. Otherwise, I could use it successfully. In trying to create a pole for testing and then recommend to many, many, many companies, I could not create a pole myself. I just got confused. I was using Chrome on Windows 11, and my screen reader is Non-Visual Desktop Access (NVDA). If you need some help to make it more accessible, I would be happy to help. The world needs a fully accessible calendar tool for scheduling appointments. Zoom is a good example of a product that understood the importance of accessibility, and they were then able to capture the market share they did. Companies cannot use inaccessible software, or they may get sued. If there is anything I can do to help. Let me know. Best George {#HS:1977398267-56915#}
