For the purpose of start arranging translated versions in Japanese and Taiwan (if possible, simple Chinese for mainland and Korean as well), please tell me likelihood of the survey content would be similar to what Dave had already provided us with? If so, I will start a prep so that it could be disseminated to Japan/Asia community pretty much simultaneously with the English version. In any event, I would like to be kept updated on the drafts.

I think a meeting on the 24th is a good idea and I think that we should plan to pilot the survey by the end of Jan. to our own smaller circles and target the first week of Feb. for an initial English release. That should get us at least a decent sampling of responses by Feb. 24.

Just a quick note before I go offline for today.

For having a productive meeting on Feb 24, it would be good to have some responses from survey available.

Without getting some hint of what the community wants, we may end up going in circles again.

* Hosted by DAISY Consortium, It is unreliable and goes down frequently and it consumes a lot of server cycles

* It should be improved to consume less resources and be more reliable
* It should not be on  <http://idpf.org/> idpf.org anymore

 

Will be a subject on next PBG call agenda

* And questioning its utility will be included in the publishing survey
