Actually, that wasn't me; my report was on getting Brian's writeup on the epubtest.org issues. I think it was Rick or Garth who talked about that.
For the record, though, that's exactly what I was thinking. The PBG F2F should either be the half day before or after the 1.5 days of the conference.
The Publishing WG F2F (assuming we're in action by then) should be on the Monday-Tuesday of TPAC.
On yesterday's DPUB call, Dave Cramer pointed out that adding a CG meeting may just be too much.

Subject: about the Nov events
Hi BillK (cc Karen, Ivan, & PBG co-chairs)
I'm freshly back from vacation and nose to the grindstone again just this morning so maybe I missed a nuance of your report in the PBG call just now but FYI I think it is presumed that the SF publishing event on Nov 9-10 during TPAC week *will* be 1.5 days and that a PBG F2F therefore *would* be logical to have on the afternoon of Friday 10th.
More very soon on the events roadmap... Karen and I need to synch up on this but I believe she may be still en route back to NY from her own travels (to Perth Australia for a WWW conference).
Thanks,
