The ARIA Working Group will continue to develop technology to enhance accessibility of Web content to people with disabilities, primarily the WAI-ARIA suite of specifications and technology-specific Accessibility API Mappings. In addition, the ARIA Working Group, in collaboration with an expected Community Group, will take on the User Context deliverable formerly developed by the Independent User Interface (IndieUI) Working Group. In response to comments and objections, the charter was simplified, unmeasurable success criteria removed, and the decision policy clarified. In addition, the updated charter removed a note about the ARIA and APA Working Groups potentially recombining.
