i18n-ISSUE-212: Prevent the use of currency synonyms

The currency identifier is defined to be ISO4217 codes though the specification indicates that any string is considered valid. This means that it would be possible to use currency synonyms. The use of synonyms should be discouraged this section should use ISO4217 codes when ever possible.
