Dear Matthew, Thank you for your comment <http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-owl-comments/ 2009Feb/0005.html> on the OWL 2 Web Ontology Language last call drafts. After considering your comment the W3C OWL Working Group has decided that they will change the functional-style syntax to be fully typed as you suggested. It is important to note, however, that this change has no effect on the RDF/XML exchange syntax -- the serialisation of ontologies using this syntax will not change in any way. Thanks again for making this very useful suggestion. We hope that the changes we have made address your concerns. Please acknowledge receipt of this email to <mailto:public-owl- comments@w3.org> (replying to this email should suffice). In your acknowledgment please let us know whether or not you are satisfied with the working group's response to your comment. Regards, Ian Horrocks on behalf of the W3C OWL Working Group
